TRP is a chain extender developed for polyurethane elastomers with medium and low hardness (< 70A). It is recommended to use it with 1,4-butanediol (BDO, BG). It does not contain controlled heavy metals, o-benzene plasticizer and other environmental restricted substances. The polyurethane synthesized with this chain extender meets the requirements of international environmental protection regulations.
Product Model: TRP
Typical Properties:
Appearance: Colorless and transparent
Density (g/cm3, 25℃): 1.060
Viscosity (mPa.s, 25℃): 410±100
Equivalent Amount: 120
Water content (%): ≤0.15
Solubility:
Easily soluble in various polyether / polyether polyols, plasticizers and other conventional polyurethane raw materials
Features & Advantages:
◆ It is liquid at room temperature and convenient to use.
◆ Improve the compatibility of butanediol with macromolecular polyether / polyester: It is well compatible with polyester / polyether without delamination.
◆ Long flow period and fast demoulding: Due to the small reaction difference with oligomer isocyanate and isocyanate monomer, it is conducive to the orderly growth of molecular weight.
◆ Improve the shortcomings of surface sticking and dirt: Improve the defect of insufficient surface curing and tackiness caused by slow curing of the outer layer in the case of using BDO chain extension alone.
User’s Guide:
● The use process is the same as that of BDO and other liquid chain extenders;
● Used alone as chain extender, it can be used for low hardness rubber rollers of TDI or MDI system (< 50a); If it is used in pure MDI system, it is recommended to use it in combination with BDO, with the ratio of TRP: BDO = 1:1 ~ 3.
● The appearance of TRP is colorless and transparent liquid, which can be used for transparent products.
Storage: Please store it in a cool, ventilated and dry warehouse far away from fire, sunlight and rain.
