Applications:

UVK-CL2 can be widely used in diverse PU CASE applications, especially to be recommended to light-coloured and transparent elastomers, such as transparent roller skates, tint shoe upper glue, shoe material, transparent PU gel, PU crafts and so on.

Features & Advantages:

UVK-CL2 demonstrates excellent comprehensive effects of anti-oxidation and anti-yellowing for CPU elastomers at high temperature application. It can effectively prevent/reduce the degradation of photodegradation, oxidation and thermal caused by external factors, such as light, oxygen and heat, to delay the yellowing and improve the service life. The unique characteristics are following:

◆ High molecular weight, stable chemical structure and good compatibility. It will not migrate from polyurethane materials both at high and low temperatures.

◆ Excellent performance of the anti-oxidative and anti-yellowing. Comparing to normal products, the effects of UVK-CL2 exceeds 1-3 times even if the dosage is only 1/3.

◆ Light color and no influence of appearance.

◆ To keep liquid status at room temperature, to be handling easily without melting.

User’s Guide:

▶ UVK-CL2 can be added into both isocyanates and polyols component, normally suggesting to be added into polyols component and stirring well

▶ For isocyanates component, it is suggested to be added before prepolymerizing to avoid yellowing of prepolymer during high temperature reaction,

▶ Levels of 0.1-0.3% as supplied by weight on total volume.

Handling & Storage:

Exposure to atmosphere should be avoided. Product should be stored in a cool, dry environment away from sunlight and excessive heat.

Shelf Life: Unopened shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
