YRFC-RG02A is an improved high-efficiency thixotropic agent that enhances the fluidity at high temperature. It is liquid at room temperature and is convenient to be used. Compared with the conventional solid rheological agent that needs to be heated and melted when used, the process is simple.
Excellent anti sagging performance, and has the function of powder anti settling and hardening at the bottom of the barrel. Solve the sagging problem of coating on vertical / slope surface.
The addition amount is small, the cost is low, and the performance is excellent, a small amount of addition can give the fluid excellent rheological effect.
It has no thixotropy and agglomeration at high temperature, does not affect the fluidity, and is convenient to export materials from the reactor.
Neutral PH value. It does not affect the reaction speed of polyurethane and the aging resistance of polyurethane.
User's Guide:
Best use method: it is recommended to add it at the later stage of coating production. At the later stage of production, RG02A is added after other raw materials are added and continuously stirred for 15-30min, and continuously mix and uniform shear to achieve the best use effect. It is applicable for both Isocyanate and polyol components.
It is suggested to add while stirring, which can achieve the best effect. RG02A is not strongly recommended to be added by diluting with any solvent, which may cause precipitation failure due to incompatibility, and different polarity, especially non-polar solvents, will reduce the use effect of RG02A.
Recommended dosage for use as anti sedimentation agent and leveling agent: 0.05-0.2%; Recommended dosage for use as anti sagging agent and thixotropic agent: 0.6-2%.
For polyurethane materials, the upper limit threshold of the general addition amount is 5% of the weight of polyurethane resin. The more added, the more obvious the effect is.
It is strongly recommended to keep it sealed after use! The effect of pure RG02A may be weakened after absorbing water, but the influence of water in the mixed material on RG02A is very small and can be ignored.
