As we all know, in order to achieve a certain concentricity and surface smoothness, polyurethane rollers need to be polished after machining by lathe. In particular, the ink coating roller, such as the coating roller used for color steel plate printing, needs fine grinding after the surface is polished, so as to ensure that the surface of the rubber roller is smooth without polishing scratch, otherwise it cannot meet the printing requirements. However, high-quality tough polyurethane has viscoelastic properties. Under normal circumstances, due to friction heat generated by polishing and grinding, the gel surface is melted and adhered, and the smooth roll surface cannot be obtained. In order to solve the problem of melting and adhesion during polishing and grinding, a large amount of crosslinking vulcanizing agent is used in the formula, but this increases the brittleness of polyurethane and is not resistant to tearing. The powder and slag are dropped during polishing, and the surface of fine polishing roller can not meet the required brightness, which results in shortening the service life of rubber roller. It is the key technical problems to get both toughness and polishability, which need to be overcome for high-end polyurethane coating rollers. User's Guide:
Generally, the addition amount is 0.05% - 0.2% of the total PU, and its optimal dosage should be determined after the test. Excessive addition is not recommended.
It can be added into both Isocyanate component and polyol component.
In order to obtain better results, it should be ensured that it is fully and evenly dispersed in the system. It is recommended to keep stirring or intermittent stirring.
After unsealing and use, it shall be sealed and stored.
