Features & Application:
Polyurethane products, synthesized from different raw materials, may exhibit irregular yellow/red spots in local locations (near cardboard boxes) after being stored in a specific enclosed space for a period of time. Especially for light colored products exported overseas, such as ice skate wheels and skateboard wheels, after mixed packaging with other polymer materials, they undergo long-distance sea transportation in high-temperature sealed containers, although the product quality and color are normal when packaged in cardboard boxes, however, upon arrival at the destination for unpacking inspection, it was found that there were varying degrees of yellow/red spot pollution on the surface of the polyurethane. Especially when PVC materials were mixed in the packaging of the cardboard box, the yellow/red spots phenomenon was even more severe, which could easily lead to return claims.

User's Guide:
UVK-CL4 can be added into both isocyanates and polyols component, normally suggesting to be added into polyols component and stirring well
For isocyanates component, it can be added at any stage. Adding it before reaction can prevent the occurrence of yellowing of prepolymer; Although we think it is safe to be added into isocyanate components, in view of the active property of isocyanate, it is still recommended to confirm the storage stability test before use.,
The dosage depends on the grade of yellowing resistance, and the recommended dosage is 0.2-1% of the total weight.
Handling & Storage:
It can be added into isocyanate or polyol components at any stage, and it is recommended to add it into polyol components, and then stir thoroughly and evenly.
The dosage depends on the severity of yellow/red spots, and the recommended dosage is 0.3-1% of the weight of PU.
Pay attention to airtight storage during normal use, and immediately cover and seal it tightly after use. Do not expose it to the air.
Package: 25kg/200kg in HDPE drum
Shelf Life:
The unopened shelf life is 18 months from the date of manufacture. If it passes the inspection after expiration, it can be used normally.
