Features & Applications:
CUWR-WB30 is mainly used as a moisture scavenger in polyurethane raw materials. Its mechanism of action is that when water is mixed with hydroxyl groups, its unique active groups can preferentially and quickly react with the water in the raw materials to achieve the purpose of water removal. Based on the rapid water removal function of CUWR-WB30, it can solve the adverse phenomena such as bubbling, bulging, pinhole, and cracking that are prone to occur in single and two-component polyurethane under high temperature and humidity conditions in summer.
The use of CUWR-WB30 does not affect the transparency of polyurethane products, and its impact on the performance of polyurethane is negligible.
CUWR-WB30 can be used for water removal from non isocyanate components in polyurethane raw materials, such as polyether/polyester polyols, solvents, plasticizers, small molecule chain extenders such as butanediol, ethylene glycol, etc; Widely used in various products in the polyurethane CASE field, such as various sealants (automotive new energy PACK sealant, electronic sealant, etc.), adhesives, coatings (waterproof coatings, floor coatings, etc.), bubble-free elastomers, etc.
User's Guide:
CUWR-WB30 is used for the dehydration of non isocyanate components such as polyols, it is recommended to add and stir thoroughly in the last step before sealing packaging;
If a good seal is maintained, CUWR-WB30 can also be added into isocyanate components, but there is a certain risk, and stability testing must be carried out first;
The usage amount depends on the moisture content, generally ranging from 0.5% to 2%;
Because CUWR-WB30 undergoes a chemical reaction when exposed to water, the residence time in the air should be shortened as much as possible during use, and it is recommended to seal it immediately after use. It is recommended to fill it with nitrogen for sealing.
Handling & Storage:
Please store in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse to avoid fire and sunlight.
CUWR-WB30 has certain irritating effects on skin and respiratory tract, but its toxicity is low. If it is contaminated with skin during use, rinse it with a large amount of water. If it is serious, see a doctor.
