ZCAT-EX16 is an organic zinc catalyst by fine control synthesis. It does not contain other organic components and solvents. It does not contain heavy metals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, phthalates and other restricted components, and can pass strict environmental protection regulations of the United States and the European Union, etc.

Applications:
It is widely used in polyurethane industry. It can be widely used in aromatic or aliphatic isocyanate systems such as TDI, MDI, HDI and IPDI, etc. It is recommended for polyurethane CASE (elastomers, two component sealants, adhesives, coatings) products, especially recommended for polyurethane soft rubber, insoles and gels.
Features & Advantages:
◢ Post curing / post curing catalyst to shorten forming / demoulding / drying time. If higher catalytic activity is required, it is recommended to use in combination with organic bismuth.
◢ It does not promote foaming, and the product has no foam. The unique targeting characteristic of not catalyzing the reaction of trace water with isocyanate can avoid CO2 bubbles produced by the reaction.
◢ Safety and environmental protection, good compatibility. It can be used alone or in combination with other organic metal compounds.
◢ Its smell is slight, and it belongs to non VOC substances.
User’s Guide:
● It is recommended to be added into polyol components (material P), preferably after vacuum degassing, and stir evenly.
● It is not recommended to add into the components of ISO (Material I) due to the risk of gelation. If necessary, be sure to conduct suitability test first.
● The dosage is related to factors such as formula and process. The general dosage is 0.05 ~ 0.5% of the weight of polyol components (material P).
● After use, the tank mouth must be sealed immediately.
Handling & Storage:
Exposure to atmosphere should be avoided. Please store in a cool, dry environment away from sunlight and excessive heat.
Package: 25kg/200kg in HDPE drum
Shelf Life: The unopened shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture. After expiration, it can still be used as usual if qualified by inspection.
